Hello again. A lot has happened since I last blogged. Yes, we secured our premises, much to the delight of each Amba Chef. I think the screams have just about died down! Please take a look at this link to see what the screams have been about http://www.londonkitchenproject.com. Dickie, Alex and Emma have been so helpful and supportive and we can’t wait to work with them. We’ve got a great station at the back of the kitchen – a superb observation point. We are already planning to hold the company launch party there over the Halloween weekend. Watch this space.
Last weekend was spent working with Jo, photographer extraordinaire, creating images for our website. On Saturday we prepared the dishes and Sunday (in glorious sunshine) was spent photographing them. We acted as Jo’s assistants, moving the food and holding up equipment to control the lighting. I found the whole experience fascinating and to cap it all I am writing this on the train on my way to Oxford Circus to view and select the photographs for our site. Here are a few I took – obviously not a patch on Jo’s.
And some more…………
Alongside all this activity, we have been working. Monica has been working for an agency and Angela and I have been working in Newham and Cambridge respectively. The least said about the work we’ve been doing, the better but suffice to say, you try catering for 300 with this as your only means of weighing
Monica has been really busy getting Amba Chefs out there via social media. Please check out our Facebook site at Amba Chefs.
By the way, I’m on my way home now. The photographs were truly fab and we can’t wait to share them with the world. Speak to you soon.
